Why did you choose to volunteer at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System?
After being retired for 10 years. I decided I was wasting my time and abilities. I was with my brother for day surgery and noticed no one was working at the waiting room desk, so I inquired and was give a number to call and became a volunteer.
Where are you from?
Grew up in Bean Station. Lived in Morristown since 1980.
If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be? Why?
My mom and dad. I would ask them all the questions I didn’t ask before.
What is your favorite food?
Steak, salad and a baked potato.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?
League of Their Own and the Notebook.

I sing in my family Gospel trio and I played softball until age.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
My family. My son and wife. 3 grandchildren. All healthy and have productive lives.
Would you choose a free trip (where would you go) or money (what would you do with it)?
Money! I would help a lot of people in need.
