How long have you work at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System? 8 years
What are your goals in working at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System? Initially when I started out here I was the Manager of the Endoscopy Center. My goal was cross-training all of our employees to create a seamless team. We were able to have a team who was titled for a specific role, but had the ability to help with all aspects of the department to achieve staff efficiency.
Where are you from? Whitesburg, KY
If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be? Albert Einstein, I would like to ask him about his Theories and why he came up with them.
What is your favorite food? It used to be a ribeye, but now it is russet potatoes because of a lifestyle change.
What is your favorite TV show? StarTrek
What is your greatest accomplishment? Getting my BSN. I worked my way up from a CNA to LPN, and then ASN to BSN. It took 24 years.
Would you choose a free trip or money? How much is the money? It depends… if the money was over $50,000 then the money, but if it was less than $50,000 I would take a trip.
What is your favorite childhood memory? Playing in the creek with my dog Waldo. He would chase after the crawfish and catch one, then fling it up on the grass. I would attach it to my fishing line and go fish.
