Kim Bragg, Patient Registration Specialist

At Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System (MHHS), we honor our staff who provide extraordinary care with The MAPLE Award, a locally created recognition program that celebrates the compassion and skills our staff bring to patients and families every day. Kim Bragg is our October Maple Award recipient.

Kim works in Admissions as a Patient Registration Specialist and has been at MHHS for 10 years. Kim is originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio and chose to work at MHHS because she believes working in healthcare is fulfilling and rewarding.

She her career gives her a feeling of satisfaction and a sense of making a difference in people’s lives. “I can use my personal skills to help patients through a tough time as I have experienced myself,” says Kim.

When asked what her greatest accomplishment is, Kim said her successful children, her granddaughter, and her marriage to her wonderful husband of 38 years.

The MAPLE award was very important to Kim. “It means that I can reach out and help patients, even become friends with patients, and know I had an impact on our patient’s lives.”
