MAPLE Award Recipient – Brian Trentham

Posted on December 30, 2020

At Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System (MHHS), we honor our staff who provide extraordinary care with The MAPLE Award, a locally created recognition program that celebrates the compassion and skills our staff bring to patients and families every day. Brian Trentham is our December Maple Award recipient.

Brian works in Radiology as a CT Team Leader and has been at MHHS for two years. He received his bachelor’s degree at East Tennessee State University. Brian is from Parrottsville, TN and chose to work at MHHS because he wanted to be closer to home. He says working at MHHS gives him the ability to serve his community.

His inspiration is to care for people as he would want his family to be cared for. Brian says his goals in working at MHHS is to have a long successful career and to continue to grow in his healthcare journey as medicine improves.

When asked what his greatest accomplishment is, Brian said “my children, Landon and Claria. I am blessed with two beautiful children.” He wanted to also thank his wife, Jessica for her constant support.

The MAPLE award was very important to Brian. “It means that I’m serving people the way I would want myself or family to be served. I hope I am leaving a positive impact on people during difficult times of their lives.”

More about the MAPLE Award:
