The Women’s Care Center at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System provides Tennessee women with the comprehensive, family-centered care they need. As a Blue Distinction Center+ in Maternity Care from Blue Cross Blue Shield, you can trust our staff to take excellent care of you and your baby.
Throughout your care experience with us, you’ll feel comfortable and secure in our labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) suites.
Our experienced staff expertly cares for all types of pregnancy and birth experiences— from routine labor to complex, high-risk situations. Our team of skilled, caring pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and ultrasonographers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all your women’s healthcare needs.

Safe Sleep
In 2020, Tennessee had 495 babies die before reaching their first birthday. Of this, 25 percent of these deaths were due to sleep-related causes.
Ensure your baby’s safety by practicing safe sleeping habits. The Safe Sleep Academy is an online resource for how everyone can help keep their newborn safe while sleeping. This is a vital measure in preventing infant-related deaths.
In 2019, Morristown-Hamblen was among four Covenant Health hospitals that earned the “BEST for Babies” award from the Tennessee Hospital Association and the Tennessee Department of Health. This award celebrated 18 hospitals across the state for our efforts to reduce infant deaths and improve the health of Tennessee’s newborns.
